Imagine landing on a website which takes ages to load. What would you do? There is little doubt that you would hit the back button and click on the next search result. In this day and age, having a website which loads slowly is a crime. You going to waste the visitors time and he will for this very reason never click on the search result containing your URL.
Website loading time can be categorized as a website performance factor. Google’s goal is to provide users with the most relevant results and a great user experience. Fast sites increase user satisfaction and improve the overall quality of the web (especially for those users with slow internet connections). The higher your website performance stats, chances are Google will give it a slight push towards the top results.
Site Performance is an experimental Webmaster Tools Labs feature that shows you latency information about your site. It shows you the average page load time for pages in your site, the trend over the last few months, and some suggestions on how to make the pages load faster. Page load time is the total time from the moment the user clicks on a link to your page until the time the entire page is loaded and displayed in a browser. However, there is one glitch. The data is collected directly from users who have installed the Google Toolbar and have enabled the optional PageRank feature

I haven’t written a post for a long time. So I thought I would compile a list of Free PR 8 and PR 9 search directories and make my readers happy. I spent an entire day searching for PR 8 and PR 9 directories, but, I could manage to collect only a handful of them. In the process, I managed to find more free search directories ranging across various PR.
